TOURNAMENTS

Tournaments are similar to league play. They vary in their design and need to be booked with at least two days notice. The standard WATL double elimination bracket can be set up to see who is the bet thrower. This model is fantastic for competitive groups of people that want to see who is definitively the best thrower.

We at Waco Axe Company have created a unique tournament play that is great for large groups of people that may have only thrown a couple of times or haven’t thrown at all. Throwers will be grouped into 3-4 teams consisting of 3-6 throwers. Each thrower plays 4 games (just like league night) and they will be trying to rack up as many points for their team. The team with the cumulative high score walks away with the victory and bragging rights among their friends.

Important Info

Waco Axe Co has a TABC (Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission) license to sell beer and seltzers.
We also allow outside food and drinks including beer and wine; no liquor.
We will have food trucks across the street for lunch Saturday and Sunday. (Gary’s Grill, Burgertology , and Churro’s Time Waco) There aren’t too many food establishments nearby so we encourage you to support these local businesses!
Sign a liability waiver via the link in your confirmation email from Waco Axe Co that you will receive after registering. It is a green button in your confirmation email from Waco Axe Co.
Within the waiver link you will be able to tell us your WATL ID/Duals ID and indicate if you can volunteer as a judge.
If registering for more than one thrower it can be done as one transaction at check out. Once you receive your confirmation email you can fill out additional waivers and give additional WATL IDs for additional throwers.
At check-out there is an add-on option for a t-shirt. Sizes Small – 2XL available. (see picture below)
